About Me.

YBPHOTO2-Flo Morgan-5.jpg

I am emerging screen actor with a foundation in both performance and production, I bring a layered understanding of storytelling to every role that I  take on. I have portrayed a wide range of characters on stage — from the iconic Cinderella to the cunning Witch in Beauty and the Beast — and I have led screen roles in psychological thrillers The Interview and Stalk Your Dreams, along with characters in the Sitcom Mike & Molly and Marnie in the TV show Girls.

I am currently studying Acting for Camera at the American Musical and Dramatic Academy (AMDA), where I am studying under seasoned professionals. My training includes improvisation, stage combat, acting and classical work with Jane Trainer. Also having hands-on production experience — from directing original theatre and short films to working in studio environments like SOHO Square Studios and on movie sets— I have a sharp eye for the rhythm and technical flow of a shoot. I have written and directed my own projects, adding further creative depth to my screen presence. I have become very comfortable on both sides of the camera, as I have been learning how to operate a camera and other items on a set. I am a grounded, versatile performer with a strong work ethic, collaborative spirit, and a deep respect for the craft.

Education

American Academy of Dramatic Arts

During my training at AMDA, I have worked closely with industry professionals to develop my skills in improvisation, stage combat, and acting for both stage and screen. This training has expanded my understanding of on-camera and off-camera roles, while deepening my overall knowledge of the industry and the collaborative process behind professional productions.

Sir William Borlase's Grammar School

During my time at Sir William Borlase’s Grammar School, I studied Drama at A Level, developing a strong grounding in theatrical styles including Greek theatre and the work of Steven Berkoff. Alongside this, I completed BTEC qualifications in Stage Management and Technical Theatre, gaining hands-on experience in set construction, stage management, and operating lighting and sound desks. I also founded and ran my own theatre company, creating original work and taking productions to festivals, which strengthened both my creative and leadership skills.

Pipers Corner School

During my time at Pipers, I began my formal training as an actress, studying a range of performance techniques including Brecht, Stanislavski, and Frantic Assembly. Alongside this training, I performed in professionally staged musicals and plays, gaining valuable ensemble and production experience. In 2020, I was rehearsing for Girls Like That, due to be performed at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival, before the production was sadly halted by the COVID-19 shutdown.
